A message from OLVCS Principal Elect Anne Bord:
Dear Families,
On behalf of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown, I am writing to request your opposition to HB (House Bill) 2632 that would destroy the EITC program as we know it and thus threaten the educational foundation for more than half our Diocese.
HB 2632 sunsets the EITC program and attempts to recreate it in a way that would not only slash critical funding but establish a series of administrative roadblocks that would end the program that is relied upon by over 2000 of our diocesan students.
Families rely on EITC to ensure their children are provided an education in an environment that is best suited to the needs of their children. The success rates of such an education in our Diocese are undeniable.
Thank you in advance for opposing HB 2632 that seeks to rob our children of their ability to succeed in an education environment that their parents have decided is best for them.
